QCMI currently has an immediate need for highly qualified CNC Mill Machinists. Regular Full Time positions Monday through Friday. Qualified individuals must have a strong technical background along with the desire to succeed professionally by expanding their ability and knowledge at QCMI.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
Qualified applicants must have their own tools. This individual must have good communication skills and will be working with engineering, quality, and manufacturing departments to ensure QCMI meets customer deadlines and quality requirements. All candidates must possess the requirements below as well as dependability, strong work ethics, being a team player and willingness to work overtime when requested.

• Must have previous experience as a CNC Mill Machinist in a machine shop.
• Must be proficient at setting up and operate highly complex jobs using 3, 4, and 5 axis machines as well as work unsupervised.
• Comfortable with Fanuc operating systems using Mazak and Haas controls.
• Must have experience working with various types of metals including exotic alloys, castings & forgings.
• Must be willing to run multiple machines when asked.
• Must have previous experience using high dollar boring tools with the ability to hold tolerances of +/-.0005.
• Previous experience using bore/Mueller gauges.
• Understands speeds/feeds used when cutting different materials including exotic alloys.
• Understands basic geometric tolerance along with being proficient at reading & understanding blueprints.
• Must be comfortable/competent in making program changes at the machining centers.
• Previous programming experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principals is a plus.
• Familiar with 6Sigma methodologies and principals is a plus.
• Should have a general understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.
